Playgroup

The HHIS playgroup is an opportunity for babies and young children to take their first steps on their learning journey in our specially designed early years environment.

Early Years

Our Early Years environment is a place for children to grow and develop in a warm, nurturing setting that blends indoor and outdoor learning. We foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence through rich, play-based experiences.

Primary

In the primary school our students develop knowledge, skills and understanding through engaging units of inquiry. Subjects come to life and connect meaningfully with the world around us.

Lower Secondary

Academic subjects in Key Stage 3 begin to evolve into the ‘separate subject model’ of a secondary school, where each subject becomes its own discipline taught by a specialist teacher. Through central learning themes, students make connections between their subjects and regularly showcase their learning and inspire others.

IGCSE

In Years 10 and 11 we offer a comprehensive program of Cambridge IGCSEs. These globally recognised qualifications provide an excellent foundation for academic and professional success, preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

IB Diploma

In Years 12 and 13 students have the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.  As an IB World Accredited School, we are proud to work in partnership with the IB so that we can continue to deliver an outstanding educational experience.

HHIS I Values

Our ‘I” Values are woven into the fabric of daily life at the school and represent the characteristics and attitudes we develop in our students. They can be seen in the way our students interact, love learning and care for each other, their environment and the world beyond. It is by making these key values explicit that our students become independent, confident lifelong learners.

Inclusive

Our school prioritizes inclusivity and embraces a culture that values every individual's sense of belonging, fostering a happy, supportive and welcoming environment for all.

“HHIS was more than school"

It was where I grew, built friendships, and found courage. In a warm, international community, I learned resilience and open-mindedness. Supportive teachers, shared laughter, and creative events made the campus feel like a second home, inspiring connection and individuality.

"From Primary to Secondary: My HHIS Story"

I’ve been at HHIS since Primary, and it has always felt warm, friendly, and inclusive. I’ve made many friends, and we’re encouraged to be brave and try new things. Now in Secondary, I enjoy my learning. The teachers listen and make us feel heard. HHIS has given me great experiences, new skills, and achievements I’m proud of.

“Wonderful Things We Appreciate About HHIS"

There are a lot of wonderful things about our school, HHIS, that I very much appreciate. One thing I like a lot about the school is the new catering, from GetFresh. The food now is really good and there’s always something that tastes good.

Another thing I like is how it really feels like a community and the learning is fun. The teachers always try to make lessons fun while still learning a lot at the same time.

“Celebrating Cultures, Creativity, and Perseverance"

I joined HHIS in Early Years and I think it is a good school because we celebrate different cultures. At HHIS, they make you think creatively and they teach you perseverance. You learn things in fun ways like playing a game. At HHIS you learn a lot of different sports and you can go to ECAs to learn special things.

"Integrity, Talent, and Warmth: The HHIS Experience"

Hua Hin International School is built on the integrity, talent, and warmth of its staff.  My experience from Early Years to Year 3, is that the teaching is exceptional — nurturing the whole child to become curious, confident, and joyful learners. The school balances academic excellence with personal growth, creating a caring, inspiring environment where children truly thrive.

"HHIS has a unique spirit that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and inclusion across its community"

This is a school that genuinely invests in people, empowering everyone to achieve their potential and pursue their passions, no matter how individual. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my children to grow, learn, and discover who they want to be—and, in many ways, I’ve been able to do the same.
